Having Specific inputs from the Assam Rifles Field Intelligence Unit( 3FID, DGARFIU) the Cachar Police, confiscated 174.6 grams of heroin and arrested two drug peddlers named Abdul Azad Mazumdar and Rahul Amin Mazumdar from Arunachal village in Cachar district, Assam.
According to the sources, the seized narcotic drugs have an estimated market value of ₹1.22 crores.
Additionally, one Tata Harrier Car with Registration Number As-11-Z-2322 and two Android mobile phones were seized in this operation.
The drugs were smuggled inside 15 soap boxes and concealed in a secret compartment of the Tata Harrier Car.
