Assam’s 15th Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, ranked 3rd as India’s most popular Chief Minister in the opinion poll conducted by the “India Today group”.
The results of this opinion poll were released this evening. According to the results, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma scored 48.6% in his approval ratings,
which places him 3rd in the opinion poll on India’s most popular Chief Ministers within his home state.
With 52.7 percent of responses, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik became the most popular CM of India in India Today’s latest survey.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath secured the second place with 51.3% response.
The survey also indicates that the leadership of Assam’s Chief Minister has been recognized by a significant portion of the state’s population.
His efforts to ensure transparency in job requirements have also helped him maintain popularity among the masses.
Notably, West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee dropped down to 10th place in that survey. Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi Ranked 8th in that same survey.
