The 37th National Sub-Junior Taekwondo Championship will be represented by a team of 5 players from South Assam’s Hailakandi District.
They are M. Setlen, Supali Chand, Irfan Uddin Chowdhury, L.M. Sinha, and L.W. Singha. Parth Sharma, a native of Hailakandi, will also participate in this national championship as the coach of the Assam team.
The competition will take place in Raypur, Chhattisgarh, from the 2nd to the 4th of February. Meanwhile, the President of Hailakandi District Taekwondo Association, Monojit Das, and the President of the District Sports Association, Gautam Roy,
have appreciated the efforts and wished the best of luck to the players from Hailakandi district who have earned a spot in the Assam team for the national taekwondo competition.
Furthermore, the association’s Secretary, Bibhavushan Chakraborty, will also be present as a referee in this competition
