Hailakandi Police Seize 63 Grams of Suspected Heroin, Arrest Three Peddlers in Drug Bust

HAILAKANDI, 10 FEBRUARY

In yet another operation against drugs, Hailakandi police seized 63 grams of suspected heroin from the Katlichera Bagan Bypass area, today.

Three drug peddlers, Soidur Rahman Majumdar, Sarif Uddin Mazumdar, and Mithun Acharjee, were arrested in this operation.

The police claimed that the market price of the seized drugs would be around Rs. 50 lakh.

According to police sources, the drugs were smuggled from Mizoram with the help of an Alto Car bearing registration number AS24 D-5284.

The police stopped the car in the Bagan Bypass area of Katlichera, and subsequently, drugs were found in the secret chamber of the Alto Car.

Police also seized the Alto Car involved in the supply of suspected Drugs .
