The supremo of the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), MP Badruddin Ajmal, accused the Congress leadership yesterday of using minority leaders like toilet tissue papers. He further stated that due to Congress’s “use and throw” policy, all senior leaders, including Ghulam Nabi Azad, have left the party.
Congress is a sinking boat with no captain to rescue. Badruddin Ajmal made these allegations after a worker meeting organized in a hotel in Hailakandi Town.
Responding to a question about Rahul Gandhi’s Bharatvarsh Nyay Yatra, the AIUDF chief alleged that Congress is implementing this primarily in minority-dominated areas.
He expressed skepticism that Rahul Gandhi’s Nyay Yatra would make no significant difference in the overall outcome of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Congress is expected to be limited to one seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, he added.
The worker meeting of AIUDF was chaired by district AIUDF President Afzal Hussain Laskar and attended by many senior leaders of the party including vice president and MLA ,Sonai Karim Uddin Barbhuiya, MLA Algapur Nizamuddin Choudhary, MLA Katlichoda Sujam Uddin Laskar and MLA Hailakandi Jakir Hussain Laskar.
The worker meeting of AIUDF was chaired by district AIUDF President Afzal Hussain Laskar and attended by many senior leaders of the party, including the vice president and MLA Sonai, Karim Uddin Barbhuiya, MLA Algapur Nizamuddin Choudhary, MLA Katlichoda Sujam Uddin Laskar, and MLA Hailakandi Jakir Hussain Laskar.
In his speech, AIUDF Chief Badruddin Ajmal mentioned that, as the “doctor” of the party, he had already provided the medicine to regain the Karimganj Lok Sabha seat. He urged party workers to prepare themselves for the upcoming Lok Sabha election from now.
Ajmal also accused the Congress Party’s last-minute decision in 2019, where one Congress candidate was fielded in the Karimganj LS seat, resulting in a division of minority votes, ultimately allowing BJP to win the seat by only 17 thousand votes. This time, he appealed to minority voters to vote unitedly for his party and derail the BJP’s candidate
